Invited speakers

• Professor Raul Arellano, Department of Physical Education and Sports, University of Granada, Andalucía,
Spain – specializes in swimming biomechanics and swimming training. He is the creator of the unique world’s swimming analysis system during the race. He had been participated in many international research projects, including those realized during the Olympic Games. He is a co-author of the Biomechanical Laboratory at the Center for Olympic Preparation at the Spanish Center of the Sierra Nevada.

• Professor Ludovic Seifert, Faculty of Sport Sciences, University of Rouen Normandy, France – is a specialist in the field of motor learning and motor control in the aquatic environment. He directs the editorial section on swimming in the highly acclaimed Journal of Sports Science and Medicine.

• Professor João Paulo Vilas-Boas, Faculty of Sport, University of Porto, Porugal – is a founder and director of an unique, best-equipped laboratory in Europe (LABIOMEP) for the study of human movement in its internal and external manifestations. He is a member of the coordinating group on biomechanics and swimming medicine at the World Commission on Sports Science. It belongs to the Portuguese Olympic Committee. Years ago he worked as a coach of the Portuguese national team.

• Dr. Andrei Vorontsov, Russian State Academy of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism, Moscow, Russia – is the author of over 100 books and scientific articles. In 2008-2012 he was a coach of the National Swimming Team of The Russian Federation. He also worked as a coach of the Swedish National Swimming Team. He currently leads an academic section in Bath, United Kingdom.
